In the 2–87 MHz band Protel designs and manufactures professional HF and low-VHF antennas and RF components for demanding applications. This frequency range covers long-range HF links, NVIS regional coverage and lower VHF services used by defence, civil protection, emergency networks, maritime and coastal stations, industrial and utility communications and HF monitoring installations.
In this band Protel offers large log-periodic antennas for broadcast-type and long-distance links, omnidirectional dipole antennas for base stations and wide-area coverage and directional yagi antennas for point-to-point connections and sectorised systems. All models are engineered for continuous professional service, with robust mechanical construction, high reliability and versions in stainless steel or aluminium, also available with radome protection on request.
Dedicated RF components such as filters, combiners and matching networks complete the range, allowing system designers and integrators to share antennas between multiple transmitters and services in the 2–87 MHz band, with controlled impedance, low losses and stable performance over time.
