The Protel AR1035 is a directional broadband high-gain Yagi antenna covering 1710-2170 MHz, engineered for professional mobile networks where stable link budgets and controlled radiation patterns are required. With max gain 19.5 dBi and linear (Vertical) polarization, it is designed for FRMCS deployments and for cellular services operating within the band, including LTE and 5G (e.g., 1800 and 2100 MHz layers), as well as DCS 1800 and UMTS 2100.

In tunnel infrastructures the AR1035 is widely adopted as a donor antenna in repeaters and DAS architectures, and for engineered coverage where long corridors, curves and service areas must be served reliably. Typical environments include road and motorway tunnels, railway tunnels, metro tunnels, underground stations, technical corridors, utility tunnels, and other underground areas where robust mechanics and predictable performance are essential.

The antenna is built with a protective fiberglass radome to increase resistance against impacts and harsh weather conditions. For projects requiring enhanced material behavior in underground environments, an optional flame retardant fiberglass radome is available.

For additional protection and operational reliability, all metal parts are D.C. grounded, helping to reduce static charge accumulation and supporting improved lightning protection of the connected radio equipment.
