AR1040 High Gain MIMO Yagi Antenna Dual Polarization +/-45° 790-960 MHz
The Protel AR1040 is engineered for professional mobile radio coverage in tunnel and underground infrastructures, where a directional, high-gain antenna is required to maintain stable link budgets and reduce multipath effects. The datasheet performance supports demanding deployments with up to 16 dBi gain and controlled radiation patterns.
Typical applications include LTE/4G and 5G services in the 800 MHz range, GSM 900 and railway networks such as GSM-R, with FRMCS visibility for next-generation rail communications. It is suitable both for engineered coverage and as a donor antenna in repeater and DAS architectures.
Installation environments include road and motorway tunnels, railway tunnels, metro tunnels, underground stations, underpasses, technical corridors and utility tunnels. For operational reliability, all metal parts are D.C. grounded, helping lightning protection and reducing static charge accumulation.
A protective fiberglass radome is available, with optional flame retardant fiberglass radome for sites where enhanced material behavior is requested. Antenna designed and manufactured in Italy
